An exciting opportunity is available for an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join us at Walton Hall!

The role will be working under the supervision of Teaching Staff providing support and help with general classroom duties.

An example of some of the classroom duties would include:

  • Provide pastoral support to pupils within the school environment.
  • Assist children in matters of personal needs and their general health including first aid and welfare matters.
  • Provide structured support in accordance with specific work programmes designed and supervised by individual teachers
  • To contribute to raising standards by ensuring high expectations are promoted for pupils

WALTON HALL ACADEMY is located just outside of Eccleshall, Staffordshire, in a rural setting with extensive grounds and amazing facilities. We are a generic special school catering for the needs of secondary aged students up to the age of 19. We support a diverse cohort of students with a range of SEND. Our students are referred to us from Staffordshire and neighbouring Local Authorities.
