We are looking for 2 x Minibus Drivers to join our College Support Team, one on a 13 hour a week contract and one 13.5 hours a week. Mon – Fri 13:45 – 16:30= 13.75hrs and Mon – Fri 14:30 – 16:30 + Tues 09:00 – 12:00 = 13 hrs.

As part of our friendly Support Team, you will:

  • • Drive our college minibuses, transporting young people safely to and from college
  • • Accompany and support students on trips and visits in the community
  • • Work alongside teaching assistants, support staff, and teachers to ensure students feel safe and supported

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • • Confident working with (or keen to learn about working with) young people with a wide range of SEND needs
  • • Reliable, safety-conscious, and approachable
  • • Willing to learn about best practice in supporting young people with SEND

Newfriars College is an Independent Specialist Day College in North Staffordshire dedicated to supporting young people with learning difficulties and disabilities aged 16–25.
